Welcome to my Digital Profile

It Is my hope that as you browse through this site you will get to know me and my family a little better.  Throughout the site you will find information and resources that are meant to provide insight into my strengths, weaknesses, spiritual gifts, and overall abilities.

Christ Follower

From a young age I have devoted myself to following Jesus and serving His church with all of the passion I have.

Husband / Father

My greatest responsibility in this world is to be the best husband I can be to my incredible wife and the best father I can be to my 3 beautiful girls.

Leader

I have always worked to be the best leader I can be. While I have not yet mastered, by any means, the art of leadership, I use the giftedness God has given me to push teams forward.

Creative

Creativity is one of the strengths that I have in my life. There is no shortage of ideas floating around in my head... and I love sharing them.

About Me

I am a Research, Communications and Technology Fellow at Artis Internatiional. Artis engages in interdisciplinary scientific field research and consulting on conflict, energy, and cyber warfare on five continents with various government agencies, universities, non-profits and private sector clients.

I am also the founder and CEO of Design Inspirations, a Creative Consulting firm. Design Inspirations is involved in services ranging from video production to print services. Specializing in creative “storytelling” through digital mediums, Design Inspirations provides clients with creative marketing / training solutions.

In addition to my faith background and love for the church, my interests include conflict research, communicating that research through non-traditional media mediums, the relationship of theology and media and the role of theology on the human condition, including its application in conflict.

I am currently engaged in two related projects: 1) In a collaboration between ARTIS, the University of Oxford, we are working to understand the theological and practical motivations of the Islamic State and how those might be mitigated and 2) under the leadership of The Lord Alderdice, we are working to grow the Centre for the Resolution of Intractable Conflict at Harris Manchester College and the University of Oxford. I am also engaged in leadership and creative consultation with churches and businesses in the Greater Phoenix area.

In addition to my capacity at ARTIS and Design Inspirations, I have applied my theology and media skills in leadership positions in Christian churches in Arizona and California. I have led the Creative Arts Department at Palm Valley Church in Goodyear, Arizona. In this capacity, he oversees the production, media, and communications for the weekly services that exceed 5,000 in attendance. I also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Arizona Christian University.

I have served as an advisor and consultant for several start-up businesses, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and political campaigns.

In collaboration with NGOs, I have worked to support development efforts in Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Mexico, including efforts to provide clean drinking water, food, shelter and worship centers. In the weeks following the 2010 Haiti earthquake, I led humanitarian missions to deliver relief supplies to displaced persons.
